Remember the first time I heard 'Emmit Smith' on the radio when I was on Holiday in America:mjlol::trash:
It kept playing on the fukking radio to the point where I actually gave it a listen with lowered expectations.:ehh: Went out and copped No Label 2, turned it on and just went...:whoo:
Add it up.:ooh:
Antidope.:ohlawd:
Hot Boy.:blessed:
Built like me.:gladbron:
Ounces.:damn:

Then that was it. Versace and everything around it sounded like shyt to me and I felt they got better with that album...Migo Lingo was hot garbage and the little I heard off of the Debut :dead::deadmanny::trash::camby:
I honestly hope this mixtape recaptures whatever magic they had on that, because I can't defend liking the Amigos off of one fukkin' mixtape for much longer.:shaq2:

You didn't like YRN???
I'll be honest, I heard a bit but didn't sit down and marinate on it like I did No label 2.
Didn't have that catchy appeal shyt like Hot Boy or Ounces had but I'm quite sure if I give it a proper go I might hear something I like and appreciate it a bit more.
I sorta got burnt out on the Migos after I heard fukking Migo Lingo or whatever the fukk that was, put 'em on the back burner and started listening to other acts I needed to catch up on. Will give YRN and this new album a proper go soon, though since I need to know if I should be looking out for any more shyt from these cats.

thanks for the detailed explanation. I was surprised cause everyone I know who likes NL2 loves YRN as well. I can't even decide which I like more myself. 5 songs in and this new tape already shyts on that doodoo album...there's still hope.

It was trash I agree. But these nikkas basically got 4 fire albums already IMO. Just cause one says "album" I'm not gonna discredit all the fly shyt they've done.

Think about like this. If Biggie had put out 3 "mix tapes" he woulda never had an "album". Music is Music period. I only consider it a mixtape if it's not original beats.

Mix tapes is Albums now, they have singles, videos, tours, only difference is they don't make corporations money.

yeah idk why people up here callin them trash. they still got fire on deck and I still bump yrn mixtape, streets on lock and the rest of their other shyt. they are signed to atlantic tho so the corporations are still makin bread.
