The label should have told Migos to tighten this up a bit. I like the album. The highlights of it are great, but there is some shyt I’ll never play again too ... unlike Culture 1.

I actually think labels are trying to push more content now a days. Especially with this "trap/hype" hip hop.

The sound is so similar and easy to forget so if you don't have new material people forget about you very quickly.

I mean a few months ago Future and Young Thug dropped a co-album that if done a few years back would still be getting heavy spins just off the clout of the two artists.

Streaming has changed the game heavy.

Before 1 album could keep a rapper relevant for like 2 years. 1 year for promotions, singles, appearances, hype etc. Then another year to actually perform the songs, tour, release music videos etc.

I mean 2 Chainz put out 7 full length projects ("mixtapes" and albums) from Jan of 2015 until now. That's wild.

the problem is quality. artist today just arent talented enough. travis put out birds a year and a half ago and it still gets play...not enough transcendent music coming out

He's not lying. These nikkas have changed the game with their 3 6 mafia-inspired flow.

Even Travis has resorted to copying them in his recent work.

The fact that obscure, hard-to-understand, slang-heavy, fast flow, underground hood shyt is a defining factor of mainstream music just 3-4 years after they started that thing is kinda legendary :wow:
:gucci: Nah... fukk them nikkas.

These songs are too long :hhh:

Same flows and cadences. Migos stale as fukk:scust:

Migos drops an album with 24 of the same exact songs with slightly different beats, similar subject matter and lyrics.and nikkas will still go :whew::ohhh: over the shyt You can literally switch the vocal tracks to any beat by them on this tape and it’s sound the same:russ:

but thecoli online migos task force gonna be like:

“You have to possess a certain level of intelligence to.....”

:flabbynsick:/:old:

“I don’t listen to songs for the lyrics just the beats”:mjlol:

:camby:

Album is trash b :scust:

This is dope but definitely shouldn't have been 24 tracks. There is no out right bad songs but not enough amazing joints for it to be this long.

Long ass album. 20+songs where most of them 4 minutes long?
I found myself losing interest half way thru after being amped as shyt in the beginning of the album
It's MUCH better than thought it would be based off Motorsports and that Joe Budden trash ass song and I was impressed by quavo production skills
