Miguel makes better music than Frank Ocean

But I think Frank Ocean is better songwriter

And I like more Frank Ocean songs than I like Miguels

But I'm not mad at Miguel for feeling that way, but why would he be comparing himself to a artist that hasn't dropped in 2 years. Why not say he makes better music than Chris Brown?

I personally enjoy Frank's music more because he's the better songwriter.

Nostalgia/Ultra, Kaleidoscope Dream, Channel Orange, HOB/EOS/THURS, WildHeart are all amazing projects.

Party creates, writes, produces, and mixes all of his music. He released two great projects that are better than any other R&B project released in 2013/2014. He also had to cancel an EP that was scheduled to be released this spring because he gave Drake four songs for his IRYTITL (including Legend which he also produced and is one of Drake's biggest songs off the mixtape). nikkas hate PND because he brings a different element to R&B but if they actually listened to his music they'd understand his artistry isn't being matched right now.

The problem with PND is that he can't sing. you make it seem like he's dropped undeniable classic music. When he hasn't. Two solid projects, that sound like a lot of the shyt a lot of people make. Electronic voice, adlibs etc. a lot Of nikkas make that. Fetty Wap makes that. He doesn't get to jump over leagues because of the connection to Drake.

When HOB/EOS/THURS dropped, there was nothing like that, and it helped Drake make what most people believe is his best project, Take Care.

There's no one who makes music like Frank or Miguel either. Highly original. PND isn't the only one who makes his brand of music. And he might not even be the best at making that type of music. He's still very good though. But to each his own.

He does make MUCH better music. And he was robbed of that Grammy because Frank pulled the 'I'm gay' shyt. Everything Miguel has dropped has been an instant classic. Frank has dropped nothing but boring overhyped bullshyt with the exception of 'nostalgia, ultra.'

Now i know you're not being objective

Party's connection with Drake is no different than Weeknd's connection to Drake was. Party only has two features with Drake, you're acting like his whole catalogue is filled with Drake features. The co-sign helps but it wouldn't matter if his music wasn't great. Also, Party's influence on Drake started in 2013 when his style noticeably changed. Drake's been borrowing Party's material since then. Party isn't the best singer but he certainly can sing. If you've seen him live or listen to his music you'd know that.

You've got a major misconception on what Party's music is. This is what I mean by me saying that people hate Party because of his sound without even understanding what his sound is. His music is nothing like Fetty Wap, Future, August, Ty, or any of these lame trap artists. PND1, for example, was an electronic dance-infused R&B project. The project was marked by interesting drum rhythms, original instruments that no one else in the game was or is using (horns were used heavily throughout the mixtape), the sampling of melodic electronic music that most artists aren't even aware of. It was a completely original mixtape and you're being disingenuous if you really are trying to compare that sound to the average trap R&B sound out today.

The funny thing is, PND 2 was a completely different sound and was more reminiscent of the Jodeci era of R&B. So really, his sound is way too versatile to pigeon-hole. I think people hear Party rap on some of his records and don't really get what his sound is. He's one of the only original artists in music and that's clear when you see the influence he's already had in his short time in the industry.
