Miguel makes better music than Frank Ocean

Damn...that's how nikkas really feel about Miguel? I didn't know he had that many fans out here.

I don't claim to know much R&B, but I like Frank's music better personally. He's the one artist I found that can make songs about love while connecting other things and emotions (aside from the usual superficial ones like despair and pain) to it. Metaphor game is strong too in the homie Frank, so I rank NU and CO really high.

If anyone can point me to a Miguel track that's similar to "We All Try" I'd much appreciate it. That song is fire every time I hear it . It's a song about love, faith and life at the same damn time.

I don't really like "Adorn" so I never got into the Miguel train much. It feels too much (to me) like a love song rather than a song about love. I prefer the latter.

With that said there's a couple songs on Wildheart I'm not feeling at all. Alvin is weird to me as of right now.

That was a pretty good song. On first listen it feels like the song would work better if he made it more personal lyrically, like he just put words that go together really well. But maybe that's my bias talking 'cause of this thread.
I'll download the album and see how I really feel about Miguel afterwards, thanks breh.

I am a fan on both artists, but I would say to the Frank Ocean critics, ya'll need to listen to the Lonny Breaux collection that shyt was

But yea both are about equal in my book with a slight lean towards Miguel but also let's be fair, he has a bigger catalogue. That next Frank Ocean album will kind of cement a legacy, but Channel Orange was flames and I thought had a lot of great songs like.

I really respect and like Miguel but the album is ass and that's in all honesty.

For the record there's nothing wrong with being confident but it's funny seeing the comment and then seeing the numbers.
