You're absolutely right. I've always had an agenda against Tomlin, from the moment he was hired and I thought to myself "who in the fock is this guy?" Then when I looked at his resume and thought "this is the best they can do?" It was then I saw a picture of him, and it all made sense.

Again, I'm not one of these politically correct idiots that's afraid of being labeled a racist because they point out facts. Maybe the Rooney's really liked something about Tomlin's pedigree. I just don't know what that is, and 1 year as a coordinator doesn't just scream out 'hire this guy!'

13 years later if something doesn't happen this season I think he might be gone. Might be the best for both sides. I don't doubt he'd line up another HC job and it's just not working out in Pittsburgh. They're stuck.

And Pittsburgh been spoiled they need to have them real doldrum years where they can't even get to .500. Been trying to run breh off for over a decade. It's best for all parties though to get that experience. Tomlin free of this and Pittsburgh fans getting what they thought they've wanted for years.

This is why he needs to stay for at least one more year. This season they get to maybe 8 wins at the most with the rest of the schedule and may not even win another game. Right now they sit at the 14th pick and the rest of the schedule is:

Ravens
Dolphins
Lions
Browns
Ravens

The way they have looked they could lose the rest of these games easily and slip into the top ten of the draft and even if they can't find that franchise QB they have higher picks to get the rest of the team together. Free agent class is trash and I don't know what the QB draft class looks like but IMO Tomlin at least deserves another year especially when taking into consideration he's never got to draft this high before and he's only got two years left on his contract.

I'm convinced Tomlin's at a point in his career where he doesn't wanna start over. He tried the rebuild on the fly and it led to Kenny Pickett. He's probably over it now and if he walks away he can call his shot, so why waste time on a rebuilding team.
