I'm convinced Tomlin's at a point in his career where he doesn't wanna start over. He tried the rebuild on the fly and it led to Kenny Pickett. He's probably over it now and if he walks away he can call his shot, so why waste time on a rebuilding team.
If he bounces he's going to team that needs to rebuild though. shyt what "built" teams could he have a chance to go to?

Ravens if they fire Harbaugh, Bengals if they fire Taylor (which I highly doubt both) because the Ravens are going to win the division and Taylor should be ok because he started the season with his QB injured. Anywhere else he goes he's most likely in a worse situation than with the Steelers

We just need to lose, damn near tank and get higher draft position.

Also tomlin needs to learn.
how to let black flamboyant players flourish.

I feel the steelers did not pick up shedeur. All based on tomlin inability to deal with flamboyance. Plus the steeler org suffering with dealing with star behavior.
Not taking shedeur was criminal and watching this season has been miserable. All because the fo and tomlin are intimidated by flamboyance. Like picking shedeur had them shook. It would open the door for deion.
as a coach and it is so stoopid and defeatist.

Tomlin is better off leaving Pittsburgh and going to a team that already has a QB.

You look at what Demeco was able to accomplish with Stroud their first year together, Quinn and Daniels, and now Johnson with Caleb and Vrabel with Maye.

You don't need to go in a long rebuild if you have the QB and HC.

The Real Titletown
NFL Doc Rivers.

Big difference is Doc thinks extremely highly of himself when he’s actually a pretty terrible coach. He says stuff publicly that he probably shouldn’t say.

It’s probably time for Tomlin to go. I wonder if he’d go to the Giants?

Giants haven't wanted a black QB they definitely are going to be dragging their feet to hire a black head coach no matter his pedigree

Actual big difference is that Tomlin is a good coach and Doc isnt. Doc is possibly a good politician in terms of dealing with players and their personalities and the FO...but in terms of actual coaching....Tomlin runs circles around him. AND Tomlin always has respect of his players.

Tomlin would be wise to go the Pete route, take a year off or so if he wants a change of scenery. Unlike Pete hes not old or senile and I think hes way more adaptive than Pete and doesnt rely on his old former players like Pete.

People keep saying Steelers are a great org but based on what?

Brand/history?
Attendance at away games?

Certaintly not at winning or team building. No playoff wins since 2017 should not happen at a "great" org.
