Angels should've traded him right after Ohtani walked. And of course should've traded Ohtani and gotten a haul for him. They seem to be a mess right now. Dodgers & Lakers are downtown. Clipps, Rams, and Chargers are in Inglewood in new digs. All these teams play in the central heart of the metro, shining in their own right, and increasing their brands while the Angels are still deep down in the catacombs of Orange County with no leadership nor future plans to speak of. Arte Moreno needs to sell the team asap!
Honestly they should’ve traded both of them at the same time and gotten 50 prospects in return.
What GM in his right mind does what they did at the deadline last year and “believed” they could make a playoff run — which was a fail.
Ohtani walks for a trillion dollar contract and Trout has his annual disability stint. Dude needs to retire. Whatever his contract is, that shīt has to be top 10 worst deal in baseball and he’s stealing $ at this point.
Maybe he could’ve thrived elsewhere and been healthy but this dude is a more broken down version of Stanton — but at least you get power and production from Stanton (who is also stealing money).

Moreno don't give a shyt. The stadium is trash, the team is hot garbage and they continue to have decent attendance. Tickets literally $1 on the Game time App. They still sell Trout merch and he just wants to get paid and play 1/4th the year and live in SoCal. It's win-win without any effort for the owner and Trout.
He has 93 in the last five seasons. I'd be surprised if he gets to 500. He just can't stay on the field long enough.
