His stats are undeniable.... unfortunately baseball is one of those sports where one man ain't changing the outcome of the team... gotta have good players on both sides of the ball and exceptional pitching... Trout walking into the HOF though
The Halos got enough good players, it just that they need to have more energy. It's like they just stoic. They don't really have fun. The most energy they had all year was due to the tragic death of Tyler Skaggs. I just want to see a more motivate group. Such a dead ass team while at the Chavez Ravine, it's swagged the fukk up. Bonds and Griffey's team in his prime was never dead. They wanted to win as bad for Griff or Bonds as they did for themselves. While the Angels just do their best. That's some weak shyt. In sports, you gotta play over your head and go above your level. If you can't do that or not doing it, some shyt wrong in my eyes. Baseball ain't that much different in honesty.

How are you going to use Griffey as an example when he only made the playoffs three times in his career and one of those was when he washed with the White Sox and the second time he was terrible in the playoffs in '97. Should've just used Bonds only or add someone like A-Rod.

yea trout has zero swag. nikka is boring as fukk. josh hamilton comes to bat i watch him. im trying to think of more white players i'd rather watch than trout
That nikka might be Baseball's Matt Ryan. The most boring nikka ever. I really don't think there is anyone who's a superstar that's more boring.
Yelich is not boring. He is exciting
Same for Belinger
Mookie Betts is fun af
Bryce Harper isn't a superstar but he got a swag and an aura and he's great in the locker room
shyt, I was watching the Padres and they got Fernando Tatis Jr. and that nikka was :wow: to watch. Just fun af. Plays with so much passion
All of the Astros fun to watch
I guess Paul Goldschmidt boring af to watch too but honestly, most 1B are boring to watch tho I enjoy watching Josh Bell.

Wild how you’re able to keep up with all these baseball teams nightly and track how ‘exciting’ all these players are

How many baseball games you watching a night?

Griffey's prime was cut short and Seattle had winning records
3rd yr 83-79
82-80
79-66
85-76
90-72
85-77
Then he had injuries with the Reds and it killed him.

6 winning seasons out of 12 seasons when healthy. 50% of the time he had his team winning more games than losing.

Trout tho.

I don't count the fake rookie year. He barely played and wasn't a rookie yet.
3 out of 8 years. He had a winning record. 37.5% winning record. 1 playoffs. Swept.

How exactly was I hating by disagreeing with your, at best, controversial opinion? I’m on negative shyt when you’re the one who negged me for a throwaway comment :skip:

You watch enough baseball to know how each locker room is but have only posted in the mlb thread once this season

Compare Mike Trout to Joe Johnson, brehs

I mean he only goes to the plate four or five times and I think he’s top 5 in walks over the last three years.

It’s tough winning in a 162 game season when the rest of your team continues to underperform.

It's a personality comparison. Not a talent one. My goodness, if Joe was that good, he would be a monster but he ain't. Joe didn't impact your locker room. He was just there.

His team under performs for a reason. They don't got a leader. Trout don't inspire them with his play. They don't say, damn! I gotta bring my A game not to let Mike down. I played Baseball. I know how the locker room works. It's not much different than any other sport. You might not be Mike but you gonna have Mike confidence. Think about it. Look at how many nikkas brought it with Bonds or Griffey in his prime. Everybody who could. They had that Michael Vick effect. You just felt you can do anything. When you were a Yankee, you knew you wanted to get to the 9th because Mariano was the fukking closer. I remember Hoffman with the Padres had that effect. It does matter.
