And Skip would be right my g. Look at all of the superstars from the 80s to now. Superstars had impact all around. The locker room, the chemistry, the confidence of the team and on winning. To me, this WAR, fWAR, Fangraphs shyt is nice to have but reality is, winners win. I say this as a nikka who I can watch a team, see how their mindset is and say they got it, they will be there at the end. When I watch the Stros. They got it. When I watch the Cubs when they won it all, they had it. Hayward wasn't even hitting for shyt. They just had the sauce. They knew it. They all had the swag. shyt, look at the Bronx Bombers over the last three years, they got it. They just ran into some better teams. Red Sox last year was clicking on all levels, no one was beating them. Stros and Dodgers was a tier above everyone two years ago, you just knew it was them winning it all. This year, it's the Yanks, Braves, Dodgers and Stros. You just know they got it. All of their players raise their levels. The locker room is on 10. The management don't even got to be great when you got the locker room, the chemistry, the superstar who makes everyone happy to come to the park like Altuve, Peterson, Acuna and Albies, Buxton and Palanco and Didi. Hell, the Yanks was fukking with Frazier because he was a bad fit in the locker room.

You gotta have the locker room. People don't get it, but it was one of the biggest reasons why the Braves 90's dynasty lasted so long and Bobby didn't always get alone with guys. Deion and Kenny Lofton for example. shyt, Jermaine Dye too.

To me the most underrated thing in Baseball is leadership skills. Analytics is nice and there is clearly a place for it in Baseball but I think just saying someone is GOAT because of metrics just doesn't do justice to what makes a team win. Remember Dontrelle Willis, now we all knew he wasn't good but he just had an energy, vibe, passion, that just made the locker room go nuts. Everyone just played better when they seen him. He just had so much energy.

Another example, when the Yanks got C.C. He wasn't the best pitcher but he just had a leadership quality and an aura you saw when he was with the Indians. He came to the Yanks and translated that into a lot of success and he wasn't even all that great at times for them. Some guys just impact winning. Some guys impact stats.

The Halos got enough good players, it just that they need to have more energy. It's like they just stoic. They don't really have fun. The most energy they had all year was due to the tragic death of Tyler Skaggs. I just want to see a more motivate group. Such a dead ass team while at the Chavez Ravine, it's swagged the fukk up. Bonds and Griffey's team in his prime was never dead. They wanted to win as bad for Griff or Bonds as they did for themselves. While the Angels just do their best. That's some weak shyt. In sports, you gotta play over your head and go above your level. If you can't do that or not doing it, some shyt wrong in my eyes. Baseball ain't that much different in honesty.

Outside of Disneyland that whole stadium and area is drab and void of any life. They need that new stadium by the water in Long Beach but I doubt that'll happen. You're right, they need new energy.
