I don't attack people in IR. I'm not even attacking Mike's kids. I'm just surprised.

I still find it ANORMAL (not bad or immoral, but anormal) that an entire family of seven will date out.

I mean, their pops himself seems flabbergasted...

I never took you as attacking anyone which is why I started by taking you out of the equation.

Any social interaction is a collective effort! It's a two way street.

Also, yes it is unusual for every sibling to date/marry out. But, on rare occasions, it happens.

Just know this, if a Blk man lives in Russia, expect him to mess with Russian women. If a Blk man is in China, then expect him to mess with Chinese women.

If you put a white dude or woman in an all Blk neighborhood, they gonna mess with Blks.

Rich kids mess with rich kids, poor kids mess with poor kids, middle class may flip flop between rich/poor depending on the situation.

When we were growing up being black was cool and celebrated more. It still is cool, but you don't have Cosby show, lil bill, proud family, smart guy, that's so raven, family matters etc... good depictions of black families and black people overall. We had more positive music, or at least there was a balance. We celebrated our own people more. We had our own cinema; Boyz in the hood, juice, coming to america, BET was a big part of the culture. They don't know about black history in Africa, in the Americas and so on. They don't know what the parents and grandparents went through. My lil bro had no idea what folks used to hang black people as spectacle. It gives you perspective, it gives you pride. That's why other folks let their kids know who they are, what it took from other for them to reach this moment in history.

All that shyt is gone, the young ones don't know anything about that era and culture, I grew up in the tail end of it; born in 95'. Couple that with growing up with white folks and good luck.

If Mike wasn't an iconic and legendary boxer, do you think his 7 kids would all date out?

I think that they wouldn't. I think that more than half of them would date Blk. Why? Because they would more than likely been raised in Blk spaces, had more Blk friends and been consistently been more exposed to Blk culture.

Give it time..

Some may be still young and going through a stage/phase.

I wouldn't be surprised if some will end up with Blk significant others, especially the daughters.

On the low, I'm not sure why famous Black people are surprised by this. If you're a famous/rich breh that married a sista and had 3 sons (for example).....you gotta take notice of where you live.

This is the United States. White women outnumber Black men like 5:1, or 6:1. If you live in a diverse area or a mostly white area, odds are your offspring will end up with white women....assuming they don't go out of their way to date/marry Black. For a minority population, FBA/ADOS have been much more hesitant to swirl compared to Asians and Latinos. Black British swirl way more than we do. It takes a concerted effort to date exclusively Black when you're outnumbered.

Next factor you gotta consider is access. A normal white girl might be cool with dating brehs, but she's not going to go out of her way to do it.........but if you got clout or come from a family with clout, those same white chicks will find a way to get in your face. That's the part that's missing. Under normal circumstances, a young breh will have to go out and pursue women. He'll focus on those closest to his circle...Black women. A breh with means? That's where the white flood comes from. He's gonna have 5 or more white women in his face for every Black woman. At some point shyt is a numbers game.

Jewish men with $$$, STAY marrying blonde haired, blue-eyed women that ain't Jewish. White men with money and questionable swag jump for Asians women. Latinos date everyone.
