The Yay
Percy was key in their SB win :yeshrug:. Obviously that trade was an L on paper but the Hawks still got theirs from it while the Vikings have done what since then? Same way the Rams obviously robbed the Redskins with RG3 but haven't done shyt with those picks either. There's 2 sides to the story in this discussion.
lets just agree to disagree breh, I have no energy going back in forth on friday night happy hour :pachaha:

:mjlol: Nah. TE/WR was a clear need, clear enough to possibly warrant said 1st round pick being used on the position.

Instead of praying for essentially 2nd round talent to develop into a stud, we found a guaranteed one in Graham, at the cost of Unger of course.

However, it's easier to replicate an Unger, especially in later rounds, than it is to replicate Graham.

First he says Unger is a top 4 center (:mjlol:) and talks about a 10 mil cap hit, when what he doesn't know is

- Unger was this close to being cut from the roster flat out. So either obviously the team feels confident in finding Unger's replacement already on roster or going out and getting him
- So because of A, it's more like we only traded a 1st for Graham and Unger was filler
- The FO has already restructured Graham's contract, it's a 5 mil cap hit this year, not 10
- We're at the same level of cap with Graham had we had Unger + 31 pick

Then he talks about keeping the defense, like we lost anybody of importance other than Maxwell. And he gave us the chance to match Philly's offer but they paid him Sherman money. fukk we or anybody else look like matching that bullshyt contract.

Tryna kick some knowledge and don't even know 2+2

@yseJ shut yo ass the hell up and go tell that Dora bytch to call me :mjlol:

Draft picks are like gold

Yeah the draft is a crap shoot but hitting on the majority of your picks makes your cap situation a lot more manageable. Rookie deals are 4 years.

Look at the Packers. They almost never sign free agents.. Which is frustrating but they draft and develop. Which is why they were $30 million under the cap despite Rodgers taking up $18 million and Peppers at $12 million

Greg Jennings, Mike Wallace, Cordarelle Patterson. Not exactly setting the world on fire but it's something for Teddy to work with.

I'd be more willing to deal Patterson. I also wouldnt pass on Cooper, White or Parker in the draft if they are there.

But good to see Teddy with weapons.

How's Teddy's deep ball accuracy? Surely can't be worse than Tannehill's right?:lupe:

Anyway I thought wallace got a bad rap here. But glad that contract is off the books:whew:

maybe we draft the home town speedster Phillip Dorsett to replace him:patrice:

It was pretty bad last year. Missed about 3 or 4 easy TD passes.

Hopefully he tightens that up. He's very good on intermediate throws though.

c.patterson just need to get his act back together and teddy got 2 big weapons

Man, I am just going to try to keep being kind to Patterson. Dude has had a problem learning the plays. This goes back to his time at Tennessee, it was his knock going into the draft.

Yeah, one of those three would be ideal. Too early to take Dorial Green-Beckham but the thought of trading down to get him if you miss out on the other 3 :patrice:

again, let me repeat myself

the decision wasn't ever between actually keeping wallace and getting a draft pick and trading him. the decision was already made wallace wasnt finna be on the phins with that contract.

now if you dont understand this, I cant make you understand that :manny:

the decision was between cutting him and getting jack shyt, or trading him for a late rounder.
Yes, but from the Minnesota perspective it's ....we can draft this 5th round receiver......or we can get Mike Wallace.
You're gonna take Mike Wallace.

...though I think if they have to pay the 9 million dollars he's supposed to make in 2015, that looks like a not-so-great deal
