nikkas was really tripping about posting pics?

Im not in anymore at all so I dont give a fukk. Nothing I post will be classified, have anybodys name in it, WON'T have my shyt in it, and will mostly just be regular shyt when out at sea or memorials.

I got pics with homies from smoke decks, girls I fukked with, shyt at bars/clubs, normal stuff in uniforms, weddings, command parties, etc. none of that will be on here

It's not all that serious... I got more pics out at sea that I might post them later

Line scores can get you Nuke qualified, most of them aren't the smartest cats out there.

Nuke pipeline got the highest attrition rate in the Navy, wild suicide rate and cats leave from there with a lot of problems.

A dude i went to RTC with offed himself a few months back down there.
:dwillhuh:What’s so bad about nukes that it makes dudes wanna off themself

1. Firstly, How old are you? Cutoff for AF officer is 39,, and 30 to be a rated officer. And you have to have at minimum a Bachelors or be at most a semester out before any recruiter will deal with you. Do you have any misdemeanors or felonies, negative character issues, foreign national relatives or horrible credit? If the answer is yes to any of these questions, then that can affect your clearance which can affect what job you get. And hows your health history? No chronic issues like heart problems, attention disorders, asthma?

2. Find a Air Force recruiter and be sure it is an OFFICER RECRUITER. Do not let them finesse you because they will hit u with some "oh yeah we dont have any officer recruiters here but I can help you out buddy :troll:" and next thing y'know youre on your way to Lackland as Enlisted with a Degree. IF they give you any BS, find another recruiter.

3. If you make it this far, the next step will be for you to take the AFOQT (air force officer qualifying test). Without going into too much detail, this test will determine what officer jobs you qualify for. Its an SAT/ACT level test (harder IMO) but if you have the slightest aptitude in math you'll do fine.

4. Lastly PICK A GOOD JOB. IF you want to stay medical, youre in luck. The AF constantly needs medical officers. Other "good" jobs are:

Rated positions such as Pilot, Air Battle Manager (one of the worst jobs), Combat Systems Officer, Remote Pilot Operator (the other worst job) (drone pilot)-Basically these jobs are all about operation of aircraft and/or controlling air space. As a Rated O you are considered the top operators in the Air Force and typically get the better assignment and promotions (most generals in the AF are rated officers).

Intelligence Officer and Cyber Operations Officers-Currently the fastest growing career fields in the entire military. Intel is all gathering and then presentting information to assist in whatever mission you are supporting. Cyber can vary but in general its about either Network penetration/Network defense.

Logistics Officer-Pretty cake job. In charge of supply chain logistics which basically means keeping the warehouse stocked.

Public Affairs Officer-Quiet as kept another cake job with cool assignments. in charge of what your local AF unit publishes and disperses as public info. Can get a lot of cake assignments especially if youre stationed in a big city.

The rest of the officer jobs are kinda shytty lol.
What about public affairs officer or logistics makes it a cake job?

Here's some of what a dude who INTENTIONALLY flunked out of Nuke school told me:
  • You get 4 hours of sleep a night for the entire duration of A school(which is 3-6 months)
  • You're always under stress from the instructors
  • Failing can get you slapped back down to an E-1(you enter boot camp as an E-3 by being a nuke). This hurts your pockets because an E-3 makes an extra $300 a month($3,600 a year). You're literally sent back to square one of you wash out...
  • A school IS JUST THE BEGINNING! You have 2 years of nuke schooling...
  • Some other shyt that I left out because I either forgot or didn't want to disclose info
It's a few guys in my A school who flunked out and were happy as shyt that they did

Public Affairs Officer just double checks to make sure no opec is getting published and that any facts presented in a documents are accurate.

Logistics Officers have a harder job but still compared to the other jobs, dealing with supply chains doesnt seem that bad. But i will say their job seems like it gets hard as fukk when they deploy.

You at Great Lakes?

intentionally failing can get you fukked if they know you're doing it....it's mastable

Prototype is an even worse sleep schedule than Power School from what they tell me..i did SRF-B with a Nuke EM and he didn't even want to talk about that shyt

Them cats were doing anywhere from 30-50 hours a week of studying outside of class time, including standing watch and all that.

they even have "clean rooms" where they aren't allowed to have electronics if they feel you're performing poorly because of playing video games or being on your phone

Nuke school is the fastest way to get to E-4, but it really aint worth it considering what comes with that place.

i didn't understand how happy people could be to fail from somewhere, til i met nuke drops

Nope. I'm at LS A school. One of my roommates was a nuke. He told me that he knew and would've aced the final test, but he intentionally marked down the wrong answers because he was sick of that shyt:dead:.

He's a Yeoman now and he's just chilling.

This is what I'm considering joining the military as an Officer for. I'm 27 and work in the Cyber field in the private sector but, my goal is to work in the miltary or public sector. Is it had to get in Cyber within the military? Also, I stay in Atlanta, GA and if I'm not mistaken Army Cyber Command is within GA as well.

First I assume you mean joining Active Duty.

Before answering this question there are 3 more questions you need to be asking yourself:

1. how much money are you making now?

2. Do you know how much a O-1/2nd Lieutenant makes relative to your career field?

3. What exactly are your reasons for wanting .mil cyber experience?

I say these 3 questions are important because if you already have the experience, are making good money, and are in a field where you are exposed to learning (for free) the most current programs, certs, best practices, etc....then I wouldnt waste my time doing .mil cyber unless you just really want this action.

Theres a reason the military cannot hold on to Cyber operators. Its because many get the experience, certs, and clearance then bounce to the civilian world.

For people like me, who have no Cyber experience whatsoever, it makes sense to do it. But if youre already set and you wont see a huge quality of life boost by joining the military, then dont bother with Active Duty.

However, if you want exposure to the military cyber world, gain a clearance AND still have a foot in the door with the civilian world, Join the Reserves or Guard.

Also I personally recommend the Navy and Air Force for Cyber over the Army (unless you go Cyber Warrant Officer in the Army, the Navy also offers Cyber Warrant Officer as well).

Also to actually answer your question, if you have a degree, experience, a clean record, and are in good shape, any recruiter will be dying to scoop you up. Cyber is the big thing and they desperately need more operators.

I make more money than the average person and just recently accepted an offer from a company that's been in the news that had a huge data breach recently (yes that one), so I'm doing ok for my age. The reason I want .mil experience is because I want to be in the "trenches" & "frontline" in terms of Cyberwarfare and I believe the military can give me that valuable experience as I'm not to concerned with pay right now. I want to be around Edward Snowden type information - top secret type information that you only hear about in the news. I can't talk about it much, but I remember I did a Cyber Threat Intelligence Internship awhile back for a large world sports tournament and we would have attacks targeting assets we were monitoring coming from specific nation states and I felt like I was doing some CIA sh*t! I find it hard trying to find somebody who will pay for a clearance especially me being so young and still green in the field as most jobs that require a clearance state you must already have one or they are not sponsoring anyone. I just want to join the military on a part-time basis and still work in the civilian world because I fell like that will help me career wise as well. Are you saying the Reserves and Guards are better for what I'm trying to do?
