For those who are cleared, and I imagine a few dudes here have it, how has it improved your job prospects and salaries in the private sector?

Ah, I already read that one, and the one for June.

Still hate how Chiefs get off light as fukk though. bytch ass nikkas.

And they wonder why most people look at the “Chief” rating as bullshyt. All the other services don’t have a separate “Mess”, and “Indoc”

Think I may have had 3 good Chiefs the time I was in. The rest? :trash:

The Navy has a great plan for saving money :troll:

Link to USNI Article

cuts will include:

-Closing 46 Auto Hobby Shops.
-Reduce manning at 10 Morale Welfare and Recreation beaches.
-Delay furniture replacement in five barracks.
-Close base libraries in the U.S.
-Cut half the base support vehicles.
-Reduce gym hours.
-Reduce pools on base.
-Cut back on landscaping and custodial services.
-Reductions in overtime.
-Restrict ship operations to Monday through Friday to avoid overtime

Basically, if you are not married, you don't count for shyt. Why close things that directly influence physical and mental well being. Single sailors reading this, concentrate on yourself and the job. Don't get married to move out of the barracks. Call your congressman, this is totally unacceptable.

The landscaping and custodial cut backs I do understand :russ:. Why pay when the labor is free?

Where you going? Depending i your job pack a lot of extra clothes if your maintenance or avionics sometimes you could get extended if the jet is broke. Use to go to UK and Korea a lot. Hopefully you have cool co workers who like to go out and explore just work hard party hard.

This likely has more impact on married Sailors and civilians. Especially the libraries, auto shop, landscaping, gym hours.
