People will blame feminism and female "success" out of resentment b/c there is a myth that women are doing better than men.

Women have been afforded greater economic opportunities than women had in the past and they are hungry for that b/c our grandmothers and moms beat into us to never be at the mercy of a man.
People seem to think that shyt was sweet for women back in the "good ole days".

But bussin out 9-12 kids for a dude you might not even want in a society where it was passable for said husband to cheat on you and beat ur ass every now and again with no economic recourse was not the move.

Subsequent generations of women used college education as a pathway to greater economic independence to allow themselves better options. It doesn't mean that they didn't want families or marriage or men. It means that they didn't want to be funneled into barefoot and pregnant days of yesteryear.

The problem with men is that they interpret women not wanting to put up with the bullshyt that used to be reality for majority of women, as women hating them or trying to surpass them.
It's ridiculous so let's address that resentment first.

As for why men aren't in the workforce anymore, education plays a large role in it. We had a paradigm shift from the elevation of trades to overemphasis on higher education and academia. This resulted in overemphasis on test-taking and formal general education while hands on fields and blue collar work were demonized. Well guess what, the majority of men have ALWAYS traditionally held blue collar jobs and a minority of men held jobs in academia. So when we as a society decided to devalue blue collar jobs, it's almost like we said "fukk men!"

Women were less impacted b/c they not going for those fields anyway.
The elimination of trades in our formal education system was one of the greatest mistakes and it was driven by wealthy big businesses who are associated with testing companies and publishing companies.

But instead of looking underneath the underneath, as per usual the rich pull the strings and distract our dumb asses with gender shyt while they continue to play us like ole school Nintendos.

I think the reason why so many Millenial men are unemployed is because we came of age in the worst recession since the Great Depression and our age group got hit the hardest. We came out of school, there was no jobs. If you didn't have your shyt together by December 2007 and you were a man in your 20's and you didn't have connections to get a job, weren't a supreme hustler or didn't have marketable skills, you were fukked. History repeats itself. We've had recessions every decade and that shyt always effects the youth and people of color hardest. Plus nowadays, hella jobs want you to work like 70 hours a week busting your ass and they have a 90% turnover rate because not everybody want to take years off their life working a hard manual labor job just to make $35K a year. Or sit for 12 hours a day, six days a week in a car dealership. Amerikkka is the most overworked country in the world and many young men don't want to work a million hours a week. Thats what the job market is like if you ain't white, especially if you black or Hispanic and have no connections. It's hard to find your niche in a society where cacs get first dibs on everything.

These were extremely complex machines. If today's standards were in place during those times you'd have needed a college degree to operate one of these. They wouldn't have let any of these uneducated, often drunk, cacs operate these nor work on them. But in those times you were taken off the street and trained by the company. Now they want you to have two degrees and 10 years experience in microprocessors (preferably no older than 25) just to send out spreadsheets among a team of six people in a section of a cubicle farm. It's all by design though.

Train Engineer jobs still exist, they pay in excess of $50,000 a year but the problem with these jobs
is the isolation and the long hours. Many people don't want to do this kind of gig because of that.

A lot of people can't fathom the sheer amount of jobs available in our country.

Often it's office workers, minimum jobs or engineering/medical field.
There's a whole hell of a lot more jobs than that and automation cannot
and WILL NOT take over absolutely everything.

Someone would have to sit and design a way to automate everything and
well...that's nigh on impossible and speaks to the idea of a robot boogie man.

Even at the company I work at, one of the most important "Robots" regularly
falls at it's job, fukks up simple shyt a person can spot any day of the week.
And this is at a multi-billion dollar company with the funds to spend on programmers, engineers etc.
To be honest we're several orders of magnitude more intelligent than a set of lasers/sensors
and lines of code, and if you have the drive to do such jobs, you can be paid handsomely.




A lot of brehs have a bleak outlook for the job market (understandably so...) but if you
look outside of the very small amount of careers typically discussed on The Coli there is

I said in another thread recently that when young, able bodied men are out and about begging on the streets for spare change that is the signs of a diseased and dying nation. Employers look at you if you're asking for a handout when you apply for a position they posted. The hunger games like lengths you have to go through to even get an entry level job today are humbling and humiliating. The number of workplace shootings will rise, by both employees, candidates and "customers." There will also be more killings of apartment landlords in the years to come. People will literally have nothing left to lose but unfortunately such a series of mass violence events against these targets will be necessary for any reversal.

I, for one, will welcome seeing dead corrupt bosses, dead greedy landlords, and dead professors that LIE to students. Even if it means shootings skyrocket and random acts of terrorism

There's hella jobs open where I live, but there are jobs that a lot of people don't want to do. Car sales, trucking, all types of delivery drivers, police officers, manual labor. And a lot of these jobs are hard, but someone has to do them. But too many people want some office job where they just surf the net all day and pretend to work while getting paid an upper middle class salary. But those jobs are usually reserved for privileged upper middle class cacs... And coli nikkas. We've made it so everyone goes to college and everyone feels entitled to a cushy do nothing desk job. But the truth is that every job has drawbacks and most jobs suck. And there are a lot of hard backbreaking jobs out there that no one wants to do; no one American anyway, which is where the Mexicans come into play.

Companies are all about making money than ever before at the expense of working people to the limit and many young men don't have the patience or tolerance for that shyt. Like Sade said "they'll waste your body and soul if you allow them to". It is very hard to find a regular 9-5 these days. Most jobs you will interview for off Indeed with a basic no frills resume as a non-white male are like " we start at 7 in the morning and we finish whenever the job is done which can be like 10 o'clock at night". And this could be a hard labor job like laying concrete or restoring houses that have been burned in serious fires. America is in a race to the bottom trying to get Americans to compete with illegal immigrant labor. Or you have jobs that are a revolving door with damn near 100% turnover rates because there is company corruption like with Amazon. You know nobody stays at a certain job when there's a new hire training class literally every month of the year. Where I live the backbone of the upper middle class with the stable steady easy jobs with benefits is federal government jobs, which is pretty sad.
