Bu but america is the greatest country ever :laff:

Previous generations got educations, health care, and bought property for pennies on the dollar, then turned around and made us sell our entire existence just to get a taste of the things they were handed. fukking scum, making damn near a whole generation homeless and hopeless to outright own anything :pacspit:
Clearly Atlantis is the greatest country ever.... but even if the US isn’t the best ever it has to be top 5 right? Not bad :ehh:

If y'all really know the struggle.

Loans are necessary unless you work full-time in college or have family taking care of all of your bills.

You need loans for survival If you have no safety net.

Unless you put school second and just work full-time.

There's just too much you have to do to take care of yourself.

And I'm not even talking about living in a dorm.

It's not too many.

Anyone thinking about going to college should talk to a teacher or a parent or someone that they look up to.

People have cell phones now and they can access this information within literally 30 seconds.

Reddit and other forums are good resources.

I lurk and see young kids asking for advice all the time.

It isn't that hard.
Yeah but you're talking about the future. We're talking about the ones who are already in the situation.

Basically when these companies sell your debt your are not obligated to pay the new company unless you agree to do so.

One of my students loans was sold to Navient. I went back and forth with them with 4 or 5 months and eventually they removed the debt from my credit report altogether.

Word????? Was it a private or fed loan?

Please help me out, sis

As if this is groundbreaking news...:heh:

As millennials...we were finessed and force-fed throughout our entire grade school years into going to college....

"Go to college..." :smugbiden:

"You won't be successful...unless you go to college and get a degree..." :ld:

Fast-forward....and there are no jobs (combined w/ factors already in place like racism & nepotism)...most jobs aint payin shyt...so then you can't payback your student loan and again...your credit is shot.

No credit...no credit cards or approvals! :mjlol:

Of course...mortgage debt is low. MFers can't afford a down-payment or a home...and their credit is shot....:hhh:

These cacs knew what type of scheme they were runnin from the get-go to enrich the govt. and the ones at the top...:mjpls:

Whats bein done to fix it? Fuk these BS articles...:camby:
I saw all this coming from afar and that's why I ended up getting my associate's degree in IT. I got hired on with a tech company for about 30k to start which ain't shyt I know but I don't have any debt to pay back.

And my job reimburses me for any certs and education I need going further and my credit is going up steadily. In the long term I think I won:yeshrug:

Makes sense, I wish I did that instead of focusing on transferring to uni with a useless AA.

I bet there's a way you can get your degree while working and the company can pay for it.

Going to school instate and taking summer classes could help with that, like if you get a stem degree from my school, UCF for example, you can get linked in deep and our programs have a lot of successful students, any instate student could probably go on 20k without scholarships

You get a Florida Bright futures each semester with a decent Pell grant and you basically knocked off half of your tuition.
