That is about people in NYC. My thread is about millennials in general. Just like there was one on stds in millennials in cali a few weeks ago. Different things, not the same at all.

That's debatable. A generation is 20 years, so yes, 39 is included for some people. 19-37 are def millennials though. No debating that.

I am young and I pointed out how older people in America are not growing up, maturing, and being adults like they should and are really trying to force youthlike behavior and trends on themselves. They got upset. Back then, it was 20 year olds who were out partying everyweekend, living with their parents or roomate, sleeping around and not getting married. Now it is 30 year olds still doing those same exact things. I would be ashamed of myself if I was 30+ still living like I'm in college. No growth over a decade.

You're correct. I've noticed and commented on this too. lol I'm 26 without a degree and I'm competing with people who in their 40s with degrees for the same jobs and living spaces. It's ridiculous to me. They get tattoos and do all this immature shyt.

I try to mature every year. I force it on myself.

Exactly. They think they're cool when they're very odd. I've accomplished more than people I meet that are twice my age. It's sad.

I'm not 30 yet and I've started focusing on longevity and building something sustainable for myself. I know who I am and exactly what I want to do. And how to do it.

I'm furious because I gotta wait for people ten or twenty years older than me to grow up and stop sitting on jobs people my age and in my position used to use to as a stepping stone. These old people are camping out in limbo. It's annoying.
