They developed a conscience about it... they probably could've kept it going, but I remember the dude Rob saying he just wanted out. The time the DAT skipped on stage did cause the rumor to start that they were lip-syncing everything, but they pretty much chose to tell everyone the truth on their own. Same person, same situation... Martha Wash got fukked over crazy back then, but she got her money from all of them.
