Y’all making it sound like the game developer is gonna skip town after release date, take the money and run :heh:

There’s no gameplay there and the storyline seems generic

But the reality is … if GTA 7 takes as long as GTA 6, 6 will be the last GTA without robots and sci-fi world elements unless GTA commits to retro settings

So in a certain way this game may be a glimpse at GTA 7
I'm trying to make it sound like it's abnormal to prevent gaming press from getting hands on time with a game that's days away from release.

It's like a movie not having advanced screenings before release.

If the game is good and they had confidence in it why wouldn't they want the media to play it and get word out before release? They won't let anyone play it and held a press event where they streamed it and told the press you can't use any footage from the stream only stock footage we provided.

As broken as Cyberpunk was at launch it didn't do some of this stuff.

I just watched the trailer

I don't see the problem. I think you gamers are just maaaaaaaaaaaaaaad picky. Damn near impossible to please y'all. Would hate to be a game developer.

make better games :manny: you don't see the "i think you customers are just mad picky* shyt when it comes to any other industry that's serious lol...

this thread is nearly 200 posts of people trying to talk themselves into this. you can't ask for more good grace than that

I saw the different gameplay. The more I watched the gameplay, and it wasn't that bad. It could be fun and might be slept on.

Honestly doesnt even look that bad. Might not be a day 1, but it definitely doesn't look as bad as we all thought :manny:
When why did the developer and publisher determine it was in their best interest to not grant anyone access to the game before release? Why are they only allowing curated footage they generate?

The answer should be obvious. This game is coming in hot and it's going to be a mess. It's absurd to hold preview events for game media and they can't get any hands on time with a game that's out in 2-3 days. There should be a playable build you can give access to so you can promote the game.
