They’re definitely hoping some construction workers stop by GameStop on their way home from a double at work and just pick up whatever new open world game is on the shelf. No reviews no previews no nothing.. just hoping to rope in the people that decided to live a few more months once GTA 6 was delayed.
Basically me minus the construction
I been playing The Precinct and I decided it’s good foreplay for jumping into the GTA Trilogy series and maybe when I’m done with that they will have the rumored GTA 4 remaster out
The Precinct’s entire story mode is basically an orientation into the features you’ll encounter during free roam
It lacks the ingenuity of the missions in GTA
I’m honestly mildly nervous about playing GTA 3 again
If the game isn’t inspired by GTA, I practically don’t wanna play it. I used to have some somewhat of a dopamine fixed addiction with Madden and NCAA and I’d play NCAA to trade draft classes for my Madden but that’s like a copy and paste installment series and I lost respect for the franchise and I stop playing it
Basically, the whole timeline we live in is balanced to by duopic forces opposing each other in every field
Coke and Pepsi
UPS and Fedex
Democrats and Republicans
Ford and Chevy
Michael Jackson and Prince
PlayStation and XBox
Windows and Mac
Honda and Toyota
Ferrari and Lamborghini
Mercedes and
A percentage of people won’t understand what I’m saying and they’ll say well. What about Nissan? What about RC Cola and I will just respond to that with, what about RC Cola? What about Nissan. Clear third place. When it comes to decisions the average human mind isn’t good with multiple choice
Ever ask a women where she wants to eat? Yeah, and she had no answer and couldn’t begin to comprehend the aspect of decision making … that’s about half of the human genome
I say all of this to say
Yes, I herald GTA. Absolutely revere the franchise. The Houser Brothers > Steve Jobs and Bill Gates
Someday GTA will be seen as an operating system
Someday GTA will be seen as a social media platform
Someday GTA will be seen as its own economy (I’ve always imagined being able to withdraw the money made in the game, and a crypto token would make that possible)
But for the same reason I wanted 2K competing with Madden, I want GTA to be facing a competitor
You think they’d let their franchise have a 12 year cycle if it weren’t for the lack of competition in their segment?
So I’m basically ready to support any game in this open world crime segment and I should probably be reviewing them
