Anyone think this will cause white flight back to the suburbs

no. It may speed up gentrification tho. :francis:

taking DC as an example because I watched it happen I think “they” are to financially invested in entrenching themselves in these cities and neighborhoods to just drop everything and leave.

been told y'all about Jake tapper :mjpls:

Oh he's just realizing that media needs to stand up for media after CNN got that work yesterday

Now they realizing that hmm, folks ain't seeing a difference in these streets. All of them are playing games

Allowed Trump to talk trash about them all this time and then they're confused on why nobody likes them, police or protestors

If they ain't getting shot and arrested by police, they getting chased out by protestors

She is shytting on white women. Can't have a gender war when you're shytting on your own gender.

Her advising black men on the limitations of white women and basically saying stay away from white women can be found in the teachings of damn near every pro black male leader. From marcus to elijah to malcolm. Great black men have been preaching black love for decades - but because it comes from a woman, she's trying to spark a gender war......by shytting on her gender?

She put race first - as we all should.

Speaking for myself only, shytting on anything other than White supremacy/supremacists right now is a waste of energy.

And again, this is about timing. It has nothing to do with it coming from the woman so it's incorrect of you to make the assumption that if a man would have said it, I'd react any differently. The fact I'm having this exchange with you (I'm assuming you're a man) is evidence of that.

I'm gonna step in and step out really fast, because it's not something that's my business. I don't know if his fiance was white or black. I've seen stuff indicating both.

I was a philosophy major and the issue of forgiveness was always the most intriguing thing to me. I've written paper after paper on the topic, and I think it's really bad timing for the fiance to already be taking about forgiving the cop that murdered George. But I will just quickly say that true forgiveness against people that committed heinous crimes (which I think mostly can only come with time and reflection) can happen. Murderers on death row can find forgiveness from family members of the people whose lives they took. But this is usually way down the road.

And I think true forgiveness is for the peace of mind of those that were wronged. You don't forgive a perpetrator to make them feel better or to let them off the hook. If you decide to forgive them, then you forgive them to free your own soul from resentment, sorrow, anger, and pain.

I'll end it by just saying it does "feel" awfully early for her to be able to forgive this man so quickly. Because the country is burning right now, and we're in desperate need of justice and reform. I'm surprised anyone could be at peace enough to forgive this murderer already.

The energy it took her to make that one tweet was less than the energy it took for you to make 6 posts in this thread.

Imma keep it a buck, I'm unsure if those quotes are even real, lol.

We could all be spewing rhetoric over nothing.
