Just wanted to make a thread about my favorite male group of all time. Mint Condition has consistently dropped great music from their first album to now. As a fan of live instrumentation and vocals, this group has done an amazing job in bridging those two loves together. Stokley Williams is one of my favorite male vocalists of all time and is a talented drummer as well. I don’t think they get enough respect in comparison to other Male groups and that’s what inspired me to do this thread. Let’s discuss and celebrate them here.

They have so many jams, but I’ll start off with 3 of their most popular. “U Send Me Swingin’” is one of my favorite songs ever tbh.

Def one of my favorite groups period of all time! One of my friends called them a bootleg Tony Toni Tone and I was HOT. Lol.

But these boys are bad. They write, compose and play their own instruments. Just a shame many people (black included) dont know too much about them.

you posted all of my favorite cuts, here are two more..

i hate saying underrated...but its facts

stokely was respected but so overlooked as far as vocalists in the 90s.

you just had so many monsters back then....kci, gerald, wanya, tevin, aaron, johnny gill....i think stokely gets lost in the sauce a bit when the baddest get brought up.

but when you hear the jams again...you remember, like oh shyt...the nikka was top fukkin notch. :wow:

props on the thread. :salute:

i know what i'll be pumpin the rest of the morning. lol

That song "What kind of man" was straight pandering to the females fantasy of the perfect man. Myra Monkhouse is trying to throw u the p*ssy and u like "Naa, man..I cant do it...We both in relationships"

:shaq2:

Yeah right.
