I like the singles as much as the next person but they were doing shyt that Dr Dre wished he could play & sample. And the thing about Mint, they weren't a talkbox band but they showed you they could get down in the lane with that if they wanted to.

I just wish I could hear the Mint Boys run it live one time the og way with the sax break.. It's one of my favorite parts next to the drums, the breakdown and their harmony

This new live version took some adjusting but what I love is that every time Mint goes into this they always go left and jam at the end

I've never heard of these guys before but you made me an instant fan Rock, jazz, neo-soul, R&B, all mixed together, this is what unmanufactured soulful black music sounds like If only more of our artists would sacrifice the shiny chains, foreign cars, and bright lights to make truly timeless music like this
