Pascal has beat the Bucks and GSW without Kawhi and both were very convincing victories. Don’t sleep on him.
Ultimately this debate hinges on whether you value whose team improved more, who has to carry to most load or who actually improved more individually as a player. Whatever you value most will determine who you think will win. I think DLo will even but I think Pascal improved more, but that’s because he started with a much lower floor individually but had the better team. On the other hand, Russell had the worst team but a higher floor.
Based on how I value the award, I’d give it to Pascal but DLo will win it.
That said, Siakam will be the better player two years from now.
You think Siakam would be able to carry a team like the Nets into a playoff spot if they swapped places? I'm not buying it.
I don't see Siakam being able to put this kind of work in if teams didn't have to worry about Kawhi, Lowry and Green all at the same time.
Breh, D’Angelo ain’t “carrying” shyt it’s a team effort out there and a great system

That’s different because Oladipo was raw and developed a lot particularly off the bounceTo me both are deserving depending on your criteria.
But for those of yall saying no to Russell hope yall had that same energy for Oladipo last year. Another former #2 pick![]()

Siakam has dominated when Lowry and/or Kawhi have sat. He has surpassed Lowry.
