Most Blacks & Whites stay to themselves. I live in the burbs a mixed group of people whites, blacks, asian. The whites still don't like you moving in, but what they gonna do about it though? :lolbron:

There's asians there? :ohhh: so the race relations are low key, no one starts nothing but there's still that :beli:.

hmm interesting.

How are them Latin Kings out there? They puttin in work? You seeing a lot of Latinos out there?

seems like poverty and the lack of policing would breed a gun totting state like Chicago, but you don't really hear about Ole Miss getting down like that.

Also, do you guys have ANY corporate offices there?

does it bother you that the Mississippi flag is the ultimately the confederate flag? :pachaha:

Actually Latinos are just starting to show up here. Some actually worked on my house last year.

About a decade ago Jackson, the capital was really bad. Its still bad but not like it was. I just don't hang around in the downtown area late at night. You gonna see prostitutes & all late at night.

lol @ corporate offices. Of course... Omni, C spire etc.

Most of them are trying to move out of Jackson and relocate to Ridgelan/Madison area. SouthHaven (right below Memphis is on the low-ballin) a very good city in MS. Hattiesburg is growing...they have a suburb right outside of it called Oak Grove where whites are funneling all of their money right now.

The flag is a problem, and has always been. Blacks don't just sit idle & not try to change that crap either. The racial tension is there but its just not spoken of....you see how whites are still trying to hold onto that power but blacks & others are making moves. Slowly but surely

Oh Indians are here too, mostly in Subways or Doctors but they here.

Asians are getting pretty deep here. I don't go a day at work without working with 2 or 3 of them. They here breh

but with the numbers in your favor how can you not just have the flag changed? once it goes to voting it should be easy. In fact, no politician should even been white considering the state is 70% black and you have voting power.

Those corporations must be holding entire cities down :heh:, that's the kind of shyt I saw in Ohio.

I see the Mississippi population drop significantly in the last 10 years, and I think it will continue, but on the bright side, that's cheap real estate, good for retiring. Ask Morgan Freeman :manny: Where are the people going? ATL? Miami? I've actually never met anyone from Mississippi before, or they just don't claim it out here in LA. lol.

Do artists have tour stops there? I never see Jackson, Mississippi on the your schedules, or maybe I do, I just over look it because it's the swamps. lol.

Ms is not 70% black when it comes to voting power. Its 55% white to 45% black. Jail is a big reason for that & just backwards thinking.

Most people I know who came up with me moved to ATL or Texas. As far as big artist no, the largest artist to come through at the height or near the peak of their blowing up was 50 cent. Bron came through a few years ago for a basketball camp (treated the kids like ish).

middle of the road artist or most black artist do hit up jackson a lot. Fantasia, Trey Songs, Keri Hilson, Keshia Cole are some of the names that I can think of that's come through recently.
