Interesting concept.

While I wouldn’t say I’m atheist or even agnostic, I always found it interesting how some of the most non-formally educated people can recite random bible verses word for word. Makes you wonder how knowledgeable they’d be if they applied that brain power elsewhere.
Man you gotta remember that they were teaching religion in school for decades, praying in school for forever. So it becomes generational on how important it is. Pray everyday at school and twice on sunday.

Its a local congresswoman who trying to bring prayer BACK to school and she been trying to do it for years
New House bill would require religion courses in public high schools

Black congresswoman too. And if you talk to a lot of people round here black and white they dont have a problem with it cause they think prayer fixes shyt and will put kids on the right path.
Religion is the biggest thing in the south.

It's not just down south though. I'm in Chicago and I know younger people who know that Bible like the back of their hand, but lack book smarts.

The mayor of Jackson said screw that though! No more than 10 people in one place and only to go orders!

my mom is a nurse in Cleveland there and she’s been living in an on site room. She said it’s getting bad and they’re handling bit terribly
I got family in Jackson. That's wild. They should be cool tho right? Nearest neighbor is like 12 city blocks away.

Mississippi is the poorest state (while sporting the lowest education rate) in the country so no wonder the governor is prioritizing reopening businesses over health because they need the revenue.
Bad move.. Alot of people in the state don't have health insurance. Got fam in Greenville/Leland. Not much to do in these towns anyways. A shelter in place order is definitely doable
