pops alway pushed the value of education and moms always worked with kids (ran an unlicensed daycare for years)…truth be told I don’t understand why it took me so long to accept that it was my calling…not to toot my horn but I was just really great with kids to the point a lot of teachers (always the white ones) would get jealous of how the kids would respond to me…the same ones that would give them fits…I’ll say this, once they see that you genuinely care for them and are willing to learn about and value their “beliefs”, they’ll learn to respect you and value yours…that being said you’ll still always have that one dikkhead kid to deal with once in a while smh lmao

At 1st glance I was like "hell to the fukk nah" but the fact the parents gotta give signed consent put me back at ease....somewhat. I went to a private school in the early 90s and they had spankings. Matter fact the principal would spank you over the PA system so the entire class would hear. Unfortunately my generation was the last generation where spanking wasn't considered child abuse.
