Pre All Star break he averaged 1.7 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 2.5 assists on 54% from the field and 34% from three while dealing with injuries. Shot 70% in the paint and him and Wemby are great on the floor together (110.6 offensive rating and 107.1 defensive rating when on court together)

Every player in the league can have a good offensive and defensive rating with Wemby. Sochan is getting 0 credit for standing around doing nothing while Victor makes 7 3's and blocks 6 shots.

Sochan is flat out one of the worst players in the league. Step 4 of the Spurs becoming a championship team is getting this bum out of here.

I'd post Bryn Forbes bail and sign him to the team before I play some undersized tweener forward who spent all summer getting tattoos in his armpits and not getting his teeth fixed.

Yeah not reading too much into this game against the Chinese squad (even with a couple NBA players). Miami game the first real test (and Vassell is supposed to be active for it).

Him actually playing is a good sign though. Spurs were too content to sit people in the preseason last year, and we blew early games while people tried to ramp up.

Whoever our SF and PF are this season are going to be catch and shoot guys. Fox and Castle will be pretty ball dominant, and it looks like Wemby is at least attempting to have a semblance of a post game. Ain't too worried about how HB looks in the preseason. He'll be alright.
