This is some divisive rhetoric. 'mixed' people are Black in the eyes of society. Regardless of what this dude says in the video.
who cares what society thinks? not too long ago we weren't viewed as human by this society.

If you're biracial, I don't see how anyone could or would identify themselves as one race over another when they are the product of two distinct lineages.
From what I can tell when it comes to this black and white shyt, biracials tend to identify as "black" because they are automatically launched to the top of the pyramid within the black racial heirarchy. Calling themselves "black" and congregating amongest blacks as a racially mixed person will give them priveleges amongst them due to black folks peverted underhanded preferences for nearly all things Caucasian (this is especially true with women).
If they ever tried identify themselves as white, they would either be shunned completely and/or placed at the bottom of their pyramid altogether. So in the grand scheme, they are just going to identify with the group where they stand to gain the most because you better believe that if white people fully accepted them as "white" they would have jumped on that train a loooong time ago.

Marcuz we might have 'beef' or whatever, but you are one of the smarter dudes on here.

no beef, you're just a strange fellow.
and it bothers me that we see eye to eye on a lot of views![]()
TJ gettin hit up by 50 and Nicki on twitter.
How the fukk?
So you only acknowledge one half of your ancestry? Does your nonblack parent not exist or something to you?I'm mixed and I never identified with being anything else but being black. And I don't think anyone has the right to decide to tell me how to identify my self. Also why would anyone assume me or any other mixed race person would want to be white. The ignorance in here is insane. telling me I'm not black is more offensive to me, in my mind than a white person being prejudiced, cause I at least expect that.
Which is why we had this thing called The Civil Rights Movement. Maybe you've heard of it, it was kind of a big deal. I don't know that there would have been a movement to get basic civil rights if people didn't care what society thought about black people. I see why you and Mist see eye to eye, seems as if your sharing a brain.who cares what society thinks? not too long ago we weren't viewed as human by this society.

Like I've said before, the one drop rule is only a bad thing to people who subscribe to the idea that being black is inferior. The civil rights movement was about fighting against white supremacy and getting basic rights for all black people, bi-racial blacks included. I'll say this again too, damn near everybody is mixed to some degree. There are very few 100% pure Africans walking around America. Mixed people are their own race? I guess I'm not black since I have nonblack people in my family tree. Yea right. You obviously haven't even thought the nonsensical position that you're taking all the way through. Who are you to determine who is and who isn't black? You don't even understand the concept of race. Your ignorance isand mixed breeds need their own independence from both races. i don't know how you can tote about the civil rights movement, then condone the one drop rule.
like i said before, mixed races deserve their own race. they are not black, they are not white. they have their own unique experiences that neither group can relate to.

So who the fukk are you to tell me what I am? and who to identify with?
no matter what.
