I don't harbor any resentment towards by biracials, but there's nothing to "convince" me of if they aren't black. In my humble opinion, you need two black parents to have a black child. I don't give white folks the power to dictate who is what and why.

According to your logic, technically a blonde haired, blue eyed singer such as Christina Augilera could claim herself as "black" if she simply switched up her music and started acting stereotypically "black" since genetics aren't a prerequisite.

Nope. First every country has its own definition of what is considered "black" and what isn't. The US is basically the ONLY country with this debate. In Brazil, and Nigeria, none of the people that you mentioned would be considered "black." Second, I don't care what politics say--science says otherwise. And science says that they are a product of two distinct genetic ancestral lines.

So if you're not Dogon tribe Black then you're not Black? Thats ridiculous. You and the guy in the video aren't fully grasping the way that melanin and genetics work. Black genes are the oldest on the planet, and therefore the strongest since we've been on the earth the longest and have the most melanin. People that are brown or light skinned are Black regardless if their African genes are diluted even a little. According to your way of thinking no Black Americans are Black because most of our grand mothers were raped by CAC's or we're mixed in some way. There are almost no 100% 'pure' Black people in America.
