I think they do it to impress white people honestly. What other reason could it be? That or, it's the need to embarrass another black person. Black people love embarrassing each other, so maybe putting all our issues on front street and airing out our dirty laundry in front of everyone satisfies the same need for them?

i touched on what i mean, its like some of them made is their mission to be immersed in anything non-black; anything with a white or Asian face on it seemed better to them. its weird people being so proud that they dont like rap, r&b and black artists, but instead they listened to Paramore , Panic at the Disco, Fall out boy ect.
Claiming to not like 'True Jackson' or 'that's so Raven' 'Cheeta Girls' but praising 'Hanna Montana'' 'Lizzy Mcguire' and 'Phil of the Future' 'High School Musical' when its all the same cheesy acting and plots.
Yet somehow the less black people involved the more they seemed drawn to it.
Some of them would scoff at the drawings some of the blacks in class drew black dudes with street clothes , shoes, cars etc but praise white/ asian anime.
you can tell when someone doesnt like a particular thing VS them being anti-Black and many of them OOZED tokenism.

there are different subgenres to black music, and believe it or not all black people arent into sports.
i believe that is more a male thing then "BLACK" thing.
