Chris Paul and Dirk's mid range games are godly. LMA also has a great mid range game. Kobe, KG, Duncan mastered it too.
This site doesn't want to hear it but Steve Nash too. Shot over 50% from there in 4 different seasons and shot 47% from 16-23 feet over the course of his entire career. That shooting touch :wow:

Saw him from 93-2003 :blessed:

Man you should've seen him in the 80s too breh. Just unreal.

Smh people thinkin he wouldn't roast everyone in today's nba. A 6'6 strong sg who had a 48" vert and ran a 4.2-4.3 40. With the biggest hands, impeccable footwork, finished from anywhere at any side and a 80+% ft shooter. That you couldn't check. Yeah he wouldn't be able to do anything even though he was averaging 20 damn near 40 years old:mjlol::mjlol:

They can't even do ball fakes in today's nba:mjlol:

Watch this video...one of the best on the net.

That's what I mean by skills...The lil intricate shyt.

Innately, his skill level was God disguised as a basketball player.

Watch somebody say 'bu bu bu but Lebron can pass, rebound, and play every position"

That's mastery of the primary skills.

This shyt right here is grandmaster craftiness.

The perfect basketball player...That's why he's the GOAT:mjcry:

He was the most perfect basketball player ever and would have been even better if he were born 20 years later

wanted to remember how flawless his midrange game became. The athleticism plus the footwork.

These new guards would do well to step up the midrange game.

also his defense

G.O.A.T on both ends :wow:

The GOAT on BOTH ends. Will give you buckets and lock yo ass up.

And in his prime he did not lose. One of the biggest sports "what-ifs" is what if Jordan never retired.

Great thread.

I started watching the NBA in 1987 (the 1985 finals were my first but I was kinda young). I remember nikkas everywhere rooting for the Lakers against the Celtics. The racial angle was blatant: it seemed that only white folks rocked Bird's jersey outside Boston. My dad even bought me a Magic jersey and we were in Brooklyn!

I've seen MJ play in person twice: 1993 against the Bullets in Landover, MD when he dropped 47pts (the LaBradford Smith game) and in Chicago against the Sonics in January 1996 (Dennis Rodman's first ejection as a Bull).
