Even if they cant win the cup this year, they are good enough to upset a team like the blues or wild easily. The Road to the Stanley Cup goes through Chicago in the West, once again. Any team that is trying to get the cup has to beat Chi.

Red Wings(yes i know they are in the east now) 2nd round, 2013
Canucks 2 times, 2nd round, 2009 and 2010
Ducks 2015 WCF
Kings 2013 WCF

All of these squads were good too, the Hawks denied them a chance at the cup. So you can imagine the ether these fans got to their hearts.
Only the 2009 Red Wings in the WCF, 2011 Canucks and 2012 Coyotes in the first round, and the 2014 LA Kings in the WCF beat the 2009-2015 Hawks.
