One reason I can’t fully agree with today’s players’ skill level being better is that those kind of high level double clutch layups are almost a lost art (except for Kyrie and a few others). Sure the handles are better and stretch bigs can shoot better also but now we see all the boring ass draw-the-foul flops more instead of creativity in the lane.
What are you talking about tons of players can hit double clutch lay-ups. :mjlol:

Kyrie isn't even the only Celtic that can do it. Jayson Tatum has like 2 tonight, Jaylen Brown can do it, Terry Rozier can do it. LeBron in tonight's game spun in transition and converted a double clutch lay-up. On the Cavs, you have several players who can hit those. D-Rose (the king of that shyt), I.T., even older D-Wade, J.R. Smith, Jeff Green. If you have any sort of athletic ability you can hit double clutch lay-ups.

There was this lay up Jordan did either versus the Nets or Kings, where he moved his body to avoid contact in mid air.

It looked way more doper than I am describing, but I havent seen any player ever do that since.

Just saw that one against the cavs for the first time and jesus that's a crazy one too. Dude clutched it like 5 times before shooting it. The all star game one is ridiculous too.

This one always gets me just for the sheer disrespectfulness of it. Absolutely no reason for him to bring it all the way around like that to flick it from the opposite direction of the hoop. Doesn't even look at the hoop.

I been trying to find this play on YouTube for years. I remember seeing it on Inside Stuff back in 94. It was game 1 of the 1st rd playoffs that year.

I remember I rewound it back so many times just amazed at the shot. That such a difficult shot.

that GOAT hands :banderas:

who else can do this all one hand in game? not bron :russ:
Dog....how is that a slight to Bron when it’s not almost 99% of the players who’ve ever played the game? :dahell:

MJ hands were bigger than Patrick Ewing’s
