Rappers took the sequel route based on the same framework Hollywood uses ... It's usually safe and profitable to cash in on known brands ..

That said Eminem doesn't need to do that given how much he sells ( Recovery reached over 5 mil in its release year) .

So what's the motive ? You'd hope he's actually serious about what he's doing and it's an actual sequel . But what would make it a legit sequel ?

MMLP was originally going to be called Amsterdam because he wrote most of it there doing drugs . But alot of the lyrics are about his take on being under the microscope and the influence of his music.

Right now he's sober and gated off from reality like most millionaires. His shock value is no longer debated.

Plus he's screaming alot.

This right here. I remember being being 16 bumping MMLP in my room being fukking amazed by how real he was about his feelings on fame and his life in general. Dude is a 45 year old father of two teenage girls now. Going back to mmlp days just seems corny. Why is it so hard for rappers to grow the fukk up
