No group/duo/trio have a 3 album run like Mobb Deep had (Infamous, HOE, & Murda Muzik)
I don’t wanna derail the thread since this is a mobb deep thread. But I disagree. Tribe called quest, de la soul, outkast have a classic 3 album run. And so does gangstarr and erik b and rakim they both a duo not 2 rappin duo’s

Absolutely. There will definitely be unheard P verses on the album, but they also aren't using anything that's been released officially. SOme songs like Night Life were leaked and released.

I appreciate that they aren't keeping things off the table just because they might be on youtube with only 3,000 views in 15 years. I feel like they're actually crafting the best album possible and not refusing to use a perfect fitting verse here or there, just because the biggest Mobb Stans on YouTube might've heard it already a few times.

Edit: For what it's worth you never would've known if no one sent you this Night Life song. Now you just have 2 brand new P joints you never heard to rock with. That's a win/win scenario :wow:
Pretty much. I'm as hardcore a mobb fan as anyone...but I ain't heard that song at all. Just tells you damn prolific P was.

Man these two singles easily make this the best of the mass appeal releases so far. As a Wu fan I wish Rae and ghost put this much care into dropping new music.
bro hav and alc are way above anyone producing those albums
@L $ C they are better than any of the producers on the Rae and Ghot albums, but...I still agree with @scorpino that there seems to be a level of care and effort put into this Mobb album that feels like it's a level above what went into the Rae or Ghost albums (I like both of them in fairness). A lot of it is probably due to the fact that they want to be especially thoughtful and careful with P's legacy now that he's gone.

I just think this album is gonna be really special. I think they've put a lot of heart and soul into it. I don't want to be a prisoner of the moment, but I really feel like this could end up being a top 5 Mobb Deep album.

Never heard this, this is HARD. I need a huge zip of all the unreleased Mobb joints.
I need to work on it too. It's felt daunting. I get OCD with the organizing music shyt and I've been dreading digging into the Mobb and P unreleased vaults because there is. so. much. damn. music. They have so much unreleased fire and I know it's going to be a nightmare to try and tag everything properly and organize it all into playlists that make sense to me.

You should just start by downloading the first 4 Mobb Misses mixtapes by J-Love, the Murda Muzik Bootlegs, and follow this youtube channel. This is the best YT channel for unreleased and rare Mobb stuff, by far

It's before then. It was on infamous allegiance vol1 dvd, dropped in between Infamy and Amerikkaz Nightmare.
Typo. Khrysis was bugging out over it when we were roommates which was 04.

I wish there was a CDQ of Broke the Switch. That’s another P x Al sleeper. That shyt bangs.

You ain't wrong to thing that. ALC in general is an under-rated producer for albums (imo), P is one of his closest peoples, and Taj Mahal is better than a lot of the songs that have come out for the mass appeal stuff so far.
