Album is flames. I'm not gonna lie, I went in worried it might be lacking but this is a traditional Mobb Deep album. This is that back in the day New York theme music shyt. Gotta applaud Havoc for putting this together, he wasn't playing around. This is the type of album u just start from beginning and press play, no skips which is the tradition of their best albums. I gotta say, hearing P shout out Jay Z made me wonder if that was AI, I hope it wasn't and he was just super humble giving him that name drop.

Damn this shyt is FIRE. wtf. This is 10 times better than them trash ass rae and ghost albums. Especially in production and mixing. You can tell havoc took his time on this and treated it with the respect it deserved. This actually FEELS like a mobb deep album.
I was a little nervous going in but they came out the gate with a fire intro. "Against the world" is an instant classic. Love them horns.

Easily album of the year for me.

It's put so well that makes me feel like P is alive.
I like how they put 4 hard songs right after the Against the world, which serves as an intro basically.
Maybe 2 basically the same songs (down for you part 1 and 2) were too much

Put On Remix dropped in 2008 when Jay Z said "I put Prodigy in his place on that summer jam screen." Jay obviously hadn't let it go and was still taking shots in 2008 and Hot 97 had this song in heavy rotation so I know P heard it. All of this was after they shook hands and anything related to the Return Of The Mac album
