Damn this shyt is FIRE. wtf. This is 10 times better than them trash ass rae and ghost albums. Especially in production and mixing. You can tell havoc took his time on this and treated it with the respect it deserved. This actually FEELS like a mobb deep album.

I was a little nervous going in but they came out the gate with a fire intro. "Against the world" is an instant classic. Love them horns.

My fav tracks so far

Against The World
Down For You
Taj Mahal
Mr. Magik
Pour The Henny
Clear Black Nights
Rae and Ghost always proving why RZA guidance was necessary when they go without him. Hav been the guiding vision so he knew the mission.

They really did P justice with this. It being the dopest album since MM really says enough, it might even compete with that album.

My only thing is I feel it falls flat at the last 3 tracks. The 2nd version of Down For You wasnt needed, we dont need to hear the same beat with same concept twice.
This---^ and I think they should have closed it with clear black nights and pour the Henny to send P out to close out the album. I like we are the real things, but it feels weird closing out the album

This album is incredible.

ONLY criticism is there isn’t enough differentiation between Down For You parts 1 & 2. I know its a flex to have H.E.R on a track but switch the beat up or something to make it FEEL special. Jorja put more soul and feeling into part 1. Thats the one to keep.

Other than that this is a damn near flawless body of work. No wasted verses, everything was meticulously planned and executed.

I think that Clipse and Nas are getting all of the attention but Ghost and Rae REALLY killed their verses on clear black nights.

Prodigy on Pour The Henny is a verse of the year contender.

Mass Appeal did the damn THING this year. And we still got three more to go!

Havoc ate alchemist's food all over this album. Hav legitimately surprised me with some of these beats. Didn't know he still had this level in him. Hopefully he's gearing up for a resurgence cause his sound is sorely missed in the game. His beats always sound so clean yet still grimy. And best of all, no soft ass drums :hhh:

Facts

Played the album last night and it’s pretty good. Havoc is underrated as a MC.

Facts again on Hav

P murdered his verses too :scust: he was repped well on this

Invisible Man P? :dahell:
that shyt threw me off too but i get it, were in the era where the budget for crazy videos aint there no more, and most people feel that AI is distasteful, which I agree with.

Alc and Erykah got shytted on hard with the AI shyt.

This is rewriting history a bit. Ghost didn’t need RZA’s guidance on Pretty Tony Album (2 RZA beats) , Fishscale (0 RZA) , More Fish (0 RZA), or Big Doe Rehab (0 RZA). All excellent albums. I really fukked with Supreme Clientele 2 and that had no guidance from RZA either.

Raekwon has proven he can craft dope albums without RZA as well. Shaolin Vs Wutang, The Wild and Emperor’s New Clothes are all solid to excellent.
