:yeshrug:I’ve said it before, but age plays a major factor when bruhs be on that “gaming is trash now” wave. A lot of bruhs are getting older and the magic. That they once felt from gaming and other forms of entertainment. Isn’t hitting like it used to be compared to when they were younger. That’s why nostalgia is such a strong feeling. It happens to almost everything and everyone once they get older. I wouldn’t be surprised if bruh. Also said that “Christmas is trash now” lol.

Senses and that rush of dopamine just dulls over time. You cant feel like a kid forever

thats why so many people are nostalgia junkies, its the closest they can get to that feeling. New shyt will never compare to the childhood feelings they had. Thats why nintendo thrives the way they do.

Almost nothings as good going into your middle ages as it was when you were an adoloescent thats just a fact of life. Modern Gaming have been around so long now, that the people who grew up with it is starting to channel their bitterness towards it.

Modern gaming has three base components: the games, what passes for journalism/reviewers, and corporate.

Games are what they've always been. Some hits, some misses. It's just that now you can have misses with infinitely better graphics than what existed in the past, so the "journalism"/reviewers + corporate will try to paper over the cracks with their babble.

And no amount of babble nor hypeman antics will ever mask anything. The tech will evolve and the marketing tactics will not. Once people see that game for what it is, everything else resolves itself.

Dude's credibility went out the window as soon as he mentioned "niche" like it's a bad thing.

Too cool for school gamers lookin for validation from the masses to play a video game :mjlol:

Be 40 in your HS varsity jacket brehs :mjlol:
:mjlol:Bruh called people who play online “dweebs.” Bruh is trying way too hard to be cool.

He's talking about sports games like alot of these developers didn't come to an agreement with a league to be the only sports game in town.

I think it has to do with gaming being more business driven than it was in the past. Companies are no longer being run by people who are passionate about gaming, they've been replaced with people who only care about numbers. It's no longer about releasing a quality product, it's about trying to extract as much money as possible from consumers :francis:
