Did you ever look at what makes New Paltz, NY famous?

A) It's a big college town, all types of people come here, this is where I went to school.

B) It is one of the first places in the USA where there was a gay marriage. Our mayor got charged for marrying a bunch of gay folks not too long back.

So New Paltz is pretty damn progressive.

Be careful the words you use, they can be used against you. You claim me to be ignorant, but at the same time you're equating an area that has trees with a place that can't possibly be progressive.

:whoa: First of all, fall back because I don't know you or the guy who was quoted in the OP. And by extent of that, I know nothing about his family background. I'm looking at this from a completely unbiased eye.

On the surface, I don't see anything wrong with what he said. If you think someone is guilty, and there is evidence that points to his involvement, then why shouldn't you be allowed to show relief if this person is arrested?

I say if you're looking for racism you can probably find it because as a person unfamiliar with LE2k, I can say there was nothing racist about the words. Now the feelings, that I can't judge. But based on your incorrect prejudgment of me and my intent, I could say you're drawing your energy from the same source of place as him.

You automatically assuming his words were race driven shows me that you're not looking at it with an unbiased eye yourself, because I'm telling you, I'm picturing a white guy, a black guy, a puerto rican guy, an indian guy, whoever saying this... and it's sounding the same to me. "Ok so you think he's guilty." A lot of people may feel that way. But because this guy says it you call it racist?

I was expecting a lot worse. I've seen a lot of lastemperor posts that contain a lot of implied racism and are generally :weirdo: but I don't understand the outrage with this one.

If someone feels that a guy is guilty and is happy they got arrested, I don't see anything wrong with that, especially since Hernandez is looking worse with every piece of news that is coming out. He still gets a trial after he is arrested so its not like the arrest automatically gives him 60 years of getting bent over. If he said he wanted to see the guy get lynched without a trial, that'd be a different story.
