ironically going to sportcenter would have been good for her. She could have rebranded as a sports reporter which would have given her more credibility to talk sports cause nobody actually cared about her opinion on first take. She was there for eye candy.

How that work out for those other two Black host when they left their own show to be promoted to SportsCenter and then kicked off the network in a short few months

Being one of 100 sportscasters on SportsCenter than nobody watches anymore is not worth a damn either

She was already way more popular than the other sportscenter folks due to being on first take. What she lacked was credibility to speak on sports topics. By becoming more of a reporter she could have gained that credibility and knowledge. Malika Andrews did this starting as a sideline reporter and makes a few million a year now.
