While I agree with that premise it’s clear ESPN wasn’t ready for her departure hence why there’s no replacement host and the half hearted message from ESPN on her leaving.

All of the names you listed were better hosts. Molly gets a lot of flack for being annoying.......because she is. She gets a lot of flack for interrupting and interjecting constantly......because she does. The only thing I'd say is debate shows have changed over the years and with social media and hot take culture taking off over the past 10-15 years, it's not a perfect comparison to hosts 10+ years ago.
I think Jay Crawford and Dana Jacobson were great during the First and 10 days.
So she abruptly resigned. Stephen A discussing it on his podcast. Said he was shocked. Also said he doesn't know everything and that it isn't anyone's business.

I wonder what happened because she has been working for ESPN in some capacity her entire adult life. Did she have the best sports takes, maybe not but she never bothered me much.
