She was comparing herself to less tenured peers. Like you’re using the wrong comparison. Why wouldn’t she feel a way when someone like Malika Andrews just got resigned from what is probably a higher salary and is on less popular shows and adds nothing?

Malika letting the execs play in that p*ssy

Yeah I was just speaking overall I wasn't gettimg into the comparison to her peers and you're right about that she should want to make as much as her peers I'm just speaking on the whole situation overall

500000 to ask SA questions between pouts in this economy, the way ESPN is dropping folks? I dont wish financial issues on anybody but I dont see where she is getting a better deal from. If I am wrong then more power to her but seriously did anybody tune in to see her? This industry is all about needle movers and bussin it open. And she got that p*ssy issue. So I am really not seeing her play here. But hey for her sake, I hope I am wrong.

Exactly how I feel. Sometimes you don't look a gift horse in the mouth. I understand the bet on yourself mentality. I've talked on here before about my job and not feeling challenged and bored. At the same time, I realized I'm making great money for an easy cushy job with crazy job security. Why risk that to enter an unstable job market. Especially considering how wanted Molly's job is and how many would step into that position for much less than she was making. Unless she has a guaranteed next gig lined up or banked enough money that she never has to work again I don't understand her play.

500K per year to basically be sexy and pretty on camera and the chick's like "Half a mil is beneath me :hhh:" What an ego. :wow::dead:
While I would think she has a strong argument for a seven figure salary based on the show being #1 in its time slot and considering what others around the industry get paid for 1hr daytime shows, it definitely looks like ESPN is doing a lot of "take it or leave it" signings with talent across the network.

She was expendable to them and Burke Magnus said on a recent podcast that the plan was to move away from her hosting First Take after December either way.

On KRS One's nose, eating sunflower seeds.
If she just wanted to do something different and was tired of the job, okay.

If she thought she needed to leave because she was underpaid GTFOH. 500k to only work Monday through Friday and you get to go home at 12pm :damn:

Trying to pin this on SAS is corny. ESPN has been dumping salary and getting rid of on air talent for years. He can't tell them to pay her more than they're willing. No one watches the show for her and the other talent does multiple shows/radio unless they're a big name SAS brought in specifically for the show.

Just want to add that Kimberly is trash and serves zero purpose. She can barely articulate a point and is condescending (see her Cam Newton comments. Salute to RC for checking her). Not surprised she bombed at hosting.

I've been done with the show but sometimes I'll catch a segment at the gym. I saw Courtney Cronin on there last week. She knows her sports especially football. It would be a waste to just have her ask questions and not talk football.
That damn Kimberly is irritating. I hated that energy she gave Cam, it was ONLY because he’s Black, would never dared have reacted like that to a :mjpls:

She needs to go!! Fatty.

I think she'll probably look for a job where she can give more of her opinions. She was always chiming in at the worst times and trying to give her opinion on topics when it wasn't needed or wanted. It became forced with her.

I think she fit in well with SAS, Max, Shannon, Mad Dog, etc., but people aren't tuning in to see her, and it seems like she thinks her value to the show was more than what ESPN thinks.

The entertainment industry is the absolute worst industry to do this in. Like you said, there are 1 million pretty chicks that will do her job for half the pay and the show will not suffer. Unless you are a runaway, transcendent star you take what you can get. In most industries if you grind hard enough to can make shyt happen. You know how many failed, wanna be stars with legit talent, that have grinded but still came up empty are walking around? Either she got something lined up or she overplayed her hand.

You are absolutely correct about Kimberly Martin. When she first started appearing on the show and some of the other ESPN shows, I actually like her. She would have some well though out and nuanced opinions. However, now she is always trying to make some long-winded opinion, in a slow speaking pace where she's looking for that "gotcha". It's not that I disagree with her on a lot of her opinions, but I absolutely understand what you mean about her.

That's not why I called him a Kewn. I called him a kewn because he is one, you rushing in here to make that connection is hilarious. Molly good at her job or not been there forever dealing with his pompous ass, and he isn't exactly a pillar of loyalty to those around him or his "people". He has supported this administration, kissed Skips ass but stop taking Shannon's calls, and soft shoes all his taking points so massa keeps him working 25/8. You been on this board a decade with the same script my boy, take some ashwaganda and turn the caps off.

WHEN DID SAS STOP TAKING
SHANNONS CALLS?

CALLING THAT MAN A c00n

MOLLY JUST SITS THERE,
ASKS SAS A QUESTION EVERY 5 MINUTES
AND GETS OFF WORK EARLY AF.

NO ONE WATCHES FIRST TAKE
FOR MOLLY SO MENTIONING THE
SHOWS RATINGS IS IRRELEVANT

I assume she had a plan anyway since they weren't keeping her there after December and she pushed the ejection button herself. Maybe a podcast play

nikka IMMEDIATELY. Shannon said he felt betrayed and we damn sure ain't heard SAS stick up for him at all. SAS claims he pushes the buttons and makes calls at ESPN, and immediately went silent on Shannon. I explained why he's a c00n and if you don't think so then the shoe fits you too and this lame ass schtick you got. If SAS your hero then say that lil nikka

Well, that was he point. If you want me to do more shyt to make more than fine. I’m more than qualified to do what Malika does and no one watches for her any way. She was already being moved off First Take reportedly regardless. Malika does the NBa countdown and pre-game/halftime and halftime is like 4 minutes of actual talking. Realistically, Molly probably spends more time on TV weekly than Malika does given how long First Take is on - so I don’t really agree with your point.

People do this thing like what @FTBS did and brought up “in this economy.” But she’s not operating in your economy. People don’t compare themselves to you - it’s to their industry peers. Molly knows what people are getting paid throughout the industry for being on the screen. And she knows very well that aside from the women covering the WNBA and Mina Kimes, no one is turning on any ESPN show for the women.
