The day 'Joga Bonito' died :mjcry:

That game was an embarrassment to Brazilian football, but the 2006 team was much more of an “end of an era”. You had a lot of holdovers from 2002 and a lot of new stars that were supposed to be quality replacements for the guys that were gone, and they flopped because they were more concerned with women and partying. That was the last Brazilian WC squad that played with a flash and style that truly embodied “Ginga Brasileira”, and we’ll probably never see it again.

But this..this the one.

We gave tom brady that work fym, all we had to do was hold it down. Then, the kick...by the longest serving panther in history. After the kick, you knew. Shyt was heartbreaking yo. Considering the year before we was 1-15, NFL's record until Detroit 0-16

This was Pep only superbowl shot

For me this was the end of Kobe's reign to me.......This is when I realized the KDs, Lebrons, and Westbrooks of the world have the league now.

I know the Lakers got blown out by the Mavs before but it felt like Kobe wasn't the same guy in 2011 with his knee issues, this year it just felt like OKC let the Lakers know that they were flabby........this was the Lakers last relevant season and Durant's dagger 3 ended that the same way he did the Cavs. They traded for Dwight and Nash but 5 games in we realized they weren't going to be good.
