For me this was the end of Kobe's reign to me.......This is when I realized the KDs, Lebrons, and Westbrooks of the world have the league now.

I know the Lakers got blown out by the Mavs before but it felt like Kobe wasn't the same guy in 2011 with his knee issues, this year it just felt like OKC let the Lakers know that they were flabby........this was the Lakers last relevant season and Durant's dagger 3 ended that the same way he did the Cavs. They traded for Dwight and Nash but 5 games in we realized they weren't going to be good.

The closing sequence of game 5 where Russell hit some flip circus shot while getting fouled really drove it home for me. On top of that, this was the last playoff series Kobe participated in, and I’ll bet none of us had even thought about it at the time.

It may have been a different series if The Heat win this game and Bron wasn’t leaving a chance to 4- peat

Yeah. I thought kd was gonna win it all and become the goat that year. :flabbynsick: Kobe pretty much lost that okc series himself. nikka looked terrible, i thought he was done.

:to: basketball gods never allowed him a chance at redemption.

I think of the MELO-STAT era, as a knicks fan. And for a while, you believed there was a shot.

Like this version was okay.

This version was surprisingly better

But after that game against the pacers, shyt was a dub, or should have been. That was the moment in my opinion :mjcry:

This might be the one for LeBron

Yea i was about to say this.

This was the end of the lebron era like for real. U saw signs all season but today father time has taken over 100%.

Lebron has now entere into the twilight years ala jordan on wizards or hakeem in toronto. Shaq on the cavs, kg in brooklyn.

But this..this the one.

We gave tom brady that work fym, all we had to do was hold it down. Then, the kick...by the longest serving panther in history. After the kick, you knew. Shyt was heartbreaking yo. Considering the year before we was 1-15, NFL's record until Detroit 0-16

This was Pep only superbowl shot

:mjcry:

:gucci: The Panthers were 7-9 the season before that.
