Should’ve posted a picture of AI in a pistons uniform. That two for one special, ending the pistons run and AI’s career basically

you had UFC, Bellator, and Showtime /CBS wanted to get in on this wave too, so they started Elite XC and they would show fights on National TV. They didn't have much in the way of big names, but then Kimbo Slice signed with them and at the time, he was huge for having these street fights that would wind up online. A lot of people in MMA didn't take him seriously though (especially UFC), so really they were banking on Kimbo driving interest in Elite XC. He was winning early, but nobody took him seriously cuz they felt he was fighting nobodies. On the night I posted he was gonna face Ken Shamrock but he got hurt, so they found some nobody named Seth Petruzelli to take his place. This was the third broadcast Elite XC had on CBS. Once Kimbo got beat, it destroyed Kimbo's rep as a bankable name and nobody could take Elite XC seriously, so they never aired another event and eventually shut down the entire promotion. Why?
I just started appreciating mma recently, but it’s wild to think about it on network.
What was it about this fight specifically that ended that relationship?

Bird or McHale said in the Celtics versus Lakers 30 for 30 they never thought that was going to be the last time they was going to make it to the NBA Finals.
Jordan and the Bulls ending two eras in the same season.
End of the Lakers franchise eraI was at game seven the year before (aaron boone game) and thought id never watch baseball again.ill never forget this fakkit ass game.
