"That's not real heat, that's get off my TV heat." -Neckbeards since 2000. nikka, how can someone have "get off my TV heat" at a live event? :gucci: This is where wrestling fans start jumping the fukking shark. nikkas trying to analyze boos from the live audience. If fans don't fukk with a heel, they WILL NOT get a reaction. This was true in 2000 and it's especially true today with fans that will no sell everything no matter how good/bad it is. Stop with the X-Pac heat shyt, it's corny as fukk and it doesn't even make sense.

Yup I agree. The insistence its the wrong kind of heat because you don’t like them and you’re not there is silly.

And to your point if you’re a heel and not getting boos or any reaction at all, that’s when fans want you off tv

Man they getting WCW type ratings before it died. Only this time there’s no competition taking them out, that makes this even worse. They need to go back to work made them successful in the attitude era. Also the women’s movement is a great novelty, but it’s not drawing ratings. And that’s simply because normally the demographic for wrestling is men. And with the #MeToMovement, it’s played out.. Men want a place where they can watch man shyt.... Everything is Pussified now... Again I’m not against women’s wrestling but, they normally don’t draw much. And without any superstars or compelling story lines the show is just utter shyt.

Also I remember once upon a time I read that they want to make wrestling like a make soap opera, has anybody actually paid attention and noticed that soap operas are almost all but extinct? I think it’s time to change with the times WWE.!

Stop pussifying my wrestling and man the fukk up!

Women's wrestling has proven to be a draw. However if you don't have compelling feuds then the fans won't care regardless of which gender is involved. The Charlotte vs Sasha feud drew great ratings for Raw.

Pretty sure WCW was drawing much better ratings at the end, like in the mid 4’s compared to the low 2’s they get now. The problem is a stale and outdated product that clearly exists to antagonize its fans. It openly expresses nothing but contempt and resentment at its fanbase, so the product is made as mind numbingly stupid as can be. The people who connect with the crowd sit in purgatory until the fans give up and walk away while the people that Vince likes get a never ending push that is beyond insulting to the intelligence of the crowd. They lazily rehash storylines, almost always to diminishing returns since most of them didn’t work the first time they tried them. Nothing feels organic. It’s all corporate and sterile, which robs it of any grit and humanity (this is most likely what your subconscious misses). Look no further than how all the belts have the same ugly and obnoxious design while all TV sets do too, not to mention them cutting costs on pyro. Think about how commentary spends all its time now reciting catchphrases or trying to push a new nickname on someone instead of focusing on what’s happening in the ring. All the promos being scripted word for word with no originality makes it even harder for something to get over, not to mention management perpetually sabotaging or stopping something entirely once it starts to get over. On top of this all, there’s little to no continuity week to week, with each show feeling like it’s being written as the broadcast is going and that they didn’t have any plans for what they want to do from week to week. Just endless rematches with nothing at stake for months at a time. They don’t even try to run any engaging storylines for a good 8-10 months out of the year, if any storylines at all. Guys just trade wins until we never want to see a specific match ever again. The problem isn’t any one particular thing. The problem is basically everything with the exception of a few people, none of whom they had major plans for in the first place.
