It's really about how you treat ppl on sets and off-camera. Are you being a diva and making other ppl's lives more difficult? Are you costing them money? She said she was told she's "tactless, tacky, difficult", and she didn't deny it, but blamed it on being from Bmore

They'll go out of their way to work w/ you to get a project done, they'll bend over backwards to cater to your demands....but while you're thinking you got the juice now, they're putting you on the blacklist. Soon as that project is done, they're not gonna fool w/ you anymore.

"The game" in Hollywood is different for Black talent. But IMO, whether you're black or white, you should just be happy to be there. There's thousands of ppl who move to LA every year w/ talent who never make it.

I don't get personally why all these black folk need hollywoods approval to succeed. How come more black folks don't go the Tyler Perry route and make their own shyt? I understand easier said than done but considering how cheap cameras and editing equipment are it would probably 6 figures to put together a decent black movie that can make millions through a viable distributor such as Lionsgate.

People can deal with "diva" attitudes and whatnot, Whitney and Mariah have many people come out and say they were tough to deal with, but in the end, bringing them on brought more people (money) out and it's cool.
