Exactly. Those consequences being they don't look to you to move up because you are only going to do the bare minimum to get by just like you said.

Now I get the push and pull of people getting taken advantage of by employers who just throw more and more but that's life. In the entertainment industry if you don't want to promote movies or yourself, why should the studios go out of their way for you?
