I honestly dont even use them.

it’s not like they’re that much greater than other rank 8 weapons.

They really aren’t.

I really don’t use em for Hunting Horn and only started using one more frequently with Sword & Shield because I didn’t feel like crafting so much

Honestly the level 3/4 weapons are pretty gotdamn strongI thnk I made one artisan weapon they were poison blades but, even so enemies don't necessarily have a primary weakness to that anyway.

And those status elements aren’t really going to be the deciding factor in taking down a monster. Maybe people will try to exploit them more for those timed hunts they got coming

I'm only still using mine mainly because of the three lvl3 jewel slots, that and I managed a 1sharpness and rest attack roll on mine

As a MH console vet thats been around since Day 1 on MH:World, this game is easy as FUKK.

All that being said I still fukks with game HEAVY. This is the best version of the HH they ever did

Agreed, I’ve steam rolled everything. The focus attack/weak points basically have most monsters scurrying around on their backs for most of the hunt and I haven’t had a single death yet but shyt is dumb fun.

I been at HR 40 for like a week

Decided to take the time and actually use my Charge Blade properly

Whole time I wasn't charging the shield or using perfect guard to get into savage axe mode properly

All I did was swing sword until it overheated and used focus mode

Now I'm a decent Charge blade user keeping up with all the pieces of my weapon
Also this is my first Monster Hunter so I'm having too much fun

Been using the sword and shield instead of the dual blades they're pretty fun. It's a nice change of pace to guard and start clashingHammer still the secondary because with poison or paralysis is ggs for these monstersApproaching level 110. I still don't like that artisan thing too much Capcom could've tried a bit harder to actually explain how some of these jewel customization stuff works more. Just my opinion though I'm still having a lot of funHopefully they add more maps in the future.
