Can't laugh at Dirk because dude has been a solider for us the past 16yrs, it just time for him to hang it up. This team is about to become the Chandler Parsons show:snoop:

Dirk playing summer ball in Germany...

You know how fukked up his knees going to be to start this season :mjlol:

As much as I clown him it made me :mjcry: to see a Dallas legend get alley ooped out the playoffs:mjcry:

Smith and Howard jumping over Dirk head like they on pogo sticks and he was powerless to stop it :mjcry:

They had a league-leading 113.3 offensive rating and one of the best records up until the trade - built on their ability to move the ball + having adequate depth - which was basically stripped away from them when Rondo came on board (departure of Wright and Crowder). They went from having one of the greatest offenses of the modern era to having an average-season offense (104.1). That's a near 10-PPCP difference. If they kept their OG team intact, they would've arguably been the second best team in the West going into the playoffs. If you didn't watch them [regularly] play prior to the trade, there's no point in you replying to this post.

Man miss me with these fraction of the season stats. They wasn't sustaining that shyt, trade or no trade. They regressed to the mean and came back down to earth. The damn Toronto Raptors was one of the leagues highest rated teams early on and sported a 24-7 record. Just like the Mavericks, the Raptors never were a real threat to sustain that success and win it all, let alone make it to the Finals.

I don't have to validate my stance, although I will let you know that I watched the Mavericks plenty this year, as well as every other team in the league, because I'm an avid NBA fan. This damn team wasn't ever gonna finish the season with some all time historic offense:rudy: nikka are you serious? They fukked up a chance at having an all time great offense because they got rid of Brandon Wright, Jameer Nelson, and Jae fukking Crowder?

Did Rondo fukk up team chemistry and probably hurt the offense. Sure. But lets not act like Dallas had any type of legitimate shot at making it out of the gauntlet that's the Western Conference. At this point you're just using Rondo as a scapegoat as to why Dallas never met expectations that were unrealistic in the first place.

Their offense regressed because they added a ball-stopping guard who can't shoot - an antithesis to a constant ball-movement, players in motion, meta-scoring offense. There's no cause to suggest they couldn't maintain their OE if they kept that OG team together, at all. I don't think you quite understand how devastating they were on the offensive end; they only would've continued to get better as a unit as the season went on - leveling out any possible bad stretch.

I'm not even going to respond to this nonsense.

Yeah it's obvious you didn't watch enough Mavs games.

Going into the playoffs the only team that would be definitively better had they not made that trade, would be the Warriors. This squad had the talent, depth and coaching to take out every other team. They were well on track to being legitimate contenders.
